WHAT IS VIRGIN HAIR?

Virgin Hair is hair that has not been processed (dyed, bleached, permed, straightened or chemically treated) in any way. All our hair is 100% guaranteed to be in its natural state.

HOW LONG CAN IT LAST?

With proper hair maintenance, your hair will last two years (for our single drawn hair) and up to one year (for our double drawn hair).  To ensure that you are protecting your investment, Brown Beauti has provided a hair care section on our website to make sure that you get the most out of your beautiful virgin hair.

HOW MUCH HAIR DO I NEED?

For a partial install we recommend 2 bundles. For a full install, we recommend 3 to 4 bundles. Keep in mind, the longer the length, the shorter the weft will be.

HOW IS THE HAIR MEASURED?

The Straight Textures are measured true to length. The Curly, Body Wave, Loose Wave, and Deep Wave are measured when hair is pulled straight.

CAN THE HAIR BE STRAIGHTENED OR CURLED?

Yes. Our hair is 100% human virgin hair. All textures will return to its original state after a gentle wash with warm water.

CAN I COLOR MY VIRGIN HAIR?

Of course but we recommend consulting a professional colorist if you wish to color your virgin hair.  Any chemical processing will affect the nature of the hair.

WHAT IS CO-WASHING?

Co-Washing, also known as conditioner washing, is a way to clean the hair without the use of shampoo. Washing your hair with conditioner, or co-washing, is often considered very good for curly hair. Co-washing consists of cleansing the hair with a MOISTURIZING conditioner.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HAND-TIED WEFT & MACHINE WEFTS?

Hand tied wefts are made by tying strands of hair around a strong weaving thread; this process is done by hand. Hand tied wefts are much thinner than machine wefts because of the precision involved. Machine wefts are made by sewing strands of hair together with a hair sewing machine. ALL OUR HAIR IS MACHINE WEFTED.

HOW DO I SEAL THE WEFTS?

We advise using a weft sealer to prevent this. Without getting it on the hair, apply the sealant on one side of the weft, allow it to dry and repeat this process on the other side. We advise letting a professional stylist perform this task.
